We came by for some drinks and food. The restaurant has a beautiful view of he harbor. Omar made us incredible unique drinks and excellent company at the bar. The food was exceptional and by far the best we had while in Avalon. The baked scallops were the star. I would highly recommend visiting Topside while visiting Avalon.
Overall solid food items but what sets them apart is the amazing service by their friendly wait staff and the beautiful views. Oysters were fresh , carpaccio was meaty and delicious. Plenty of drinks on the menu (wine, curated cocktails, diet sodas and hard kombucha). Worth a light snack and drinks to watch the beautiful Avalon sunset
Food was delicious! Had the Italian sandwich and would definitely recommend it. Omar was our bartender. He had a pretty busy bar but was still very attentive & friendly! Espresso martini was top tier! We loved our experience here
Topside is new to Catalina and an amazing addition to the food scene. Chef Joel is a master at his craft. My wife and I came for appetizers and drinks and asked if they could cook fish our boys caught. Chef Joel made tacos three ways, fried, blackened and house special. All were amazing. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.
This place has great food and a fabulous view!!! We loved our server and bartender, Omar!!! We came this afternoon for drinks on the rooftop and to soak in the sun. Back again because the menu was appealing. Super nice staff and easy atmosphere.
Best cocktails, my favorite bartender is Omar, make sure to ask for him. He makes amazing drinks, including mocktails. My favorite so far is his Espresso Martini. But he made my cousin one with chocolate and she loved it. Photos don’t capture them fully (it was night).
Stopped in on a port call. Great views of the bay and people watching from the 2nd floor. We tried the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Shot...yummy! Recommend the Manchego Cheese Croquettes and Shrimp Empanadas.
